The research and development of ultra high purity (UHP) and electronic grade materials is essential to the maintenance and advancement of scientific application. As the emerging high technology industries continue to demand more stringent product specifications, purification technologies are required to establish advanced methologies that in turn, enhance the results of their respective applications.

The primary industry that requires this stringent product purity is semi-conductor manufacturing. This industry is important to the worldwide economic growth that depends on local suppliers to provide materials which meet the rigid specs. Utilizing patented and proprietary process, Electronic Fluorocarbons LLC will maintain the critical link between scientific technologies and product applications.

Semi-conductor industries such as Intel, Motorola and IBM, maintain rigid product standards for various etching gases utilized during microprocessor fabrication. Availability of qualified, virgin materials is typically limited to a single US source, yet industry demands are subject to contractual allotment. Foreign producers have difficulty meeting purities, therefore domestic purification becomes necessary.

Although few US companies maintain the ability to refine materials with within acceptable specifications, they are limited to handling one or two of industry's large spectrum of etchant product requirements.
